Sazzad Ali is a Writer & a Broadcaster.
He was born in a well reputed political & cultural family in the district of Gopalgonj, Bangladesh.
He completed his secondary and higher secondary education in Bangladesh.
In 1992 he moved to New York City of United States for higher study and completed his education in Business studies.. Beside study, he was actively involved there with different cultural organizations and worked for a number of volunteer associations as well.
Since 1998 Sazzad is living in the city of Toronto, Canada.
In Canada he completed his graduation once again from Ontario Real Estate Association and working there since 2006 as one of the successful Realtors under Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB).
Sazzad also completed Diploma courses on multimedia like, making Film, documentary, Tv production etc. from different institutions and attended number of seminars for the same within past decades.
Sazzad established a company named ‘Bangla Television Canada’ in June, 2005 to promote the Bengali art & culture Canada wide and worldwide as well. Since January 2006, Bangla Tv Canada producing and broadcasting the Tv shows in a very regular basis in association with Rogers Tv & Omni Television Network (the two largest Tv media groups in Canada) under the support and the supervision of CRTC (Canadian Radio-Television Telecommunications Commission).
As the director & producer of the Bangla Tv Canada, so far Sazzad has created and broadcasted over 500 Tv shows.
He also created documentaries & short films on the Freedom Fights of Bangladesh, the life of Bangabandhu Shekh Mujibur Rahman, Bengali Language Movement, International Mother Language day, the monument “Sohid Minar”, on life history of Rabindranath Tagore & Kazi Nazrul Islam etc.

As a broadcaster ‘Sazzad’ is a very popular and well-known name within North American Bengali community. Sazzad was also interviewed number of times for his community work by VOA (voice of America), BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) and awarded several times by different Canadian organizations.
He wrote over 300 articles which were published in Canadian print Medias and Bangladeshi news portals such as BDNews 24, Prothom Alo, Bangladesh Protidin, Channel I online ect.
